Contentment's a time and a place, not a guilded promise that I make anymore. A fan brings air to my neck...it seems that wind should feel more natural to me. Each blade of grass would bend and fold underneath my hurried feet, but painted perception couldn't make me happy. I've known you to be quick with words that cut away at my sullen moods. Sat down to re-work each phrase, knowing my efforts would be lost on you. I seem to brush off the reminder that I am young and that I have so much time to put my life in order. But, it's true, it is. Assuming that I will live to the full American life expectancy, there is time. But, 'time is a human-imposed construct' and life is often cut short, so living for the day is an important thing. Knowing that the things around me could cease at any moment is a scary feeling, the scariest feeling I can really think of.
